Meet Martee

The next generation Blue Stud

This swim was one of his first, and so he is a little splashy. As a young Weim some dog-paddle and splash--but over time they gain smooth strokes and become powerful swimmers.
Cliff and Martee have been workin on various aspects. One thing we want to share is he loves the water.

Below few quick snapshots and a little practice video that doesn't due him justice--on November 16, 2020, Martee Prized at the Treasure Valley North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association Natural Ability (NAVHDA) Hunt Test.

It does require considerable work to earn a NAVHDA Prize even though they call it natural ability. COVID and other issues kept Cliff and Martee from doing much preparation for this hunt test. They pulled out from OwyheeStar early morning, wondering what would happen. Despite the lack of training, practice, and obstacles, Martee pulled out a Prize III Natural Ability. Not only that, he was a hit--super friendly and engaging. Click Here to learn more about NAVHDA Hunt Testing.
