               We Always Register the Litter as well as Each Pup within the Litter. 

 June 2016--AKC has changed the process.


  • We paid for the registration--for the litter and each puppy.
  • You will receive an email—inviting you to complete the online paperwork.
  • You will name your puppy during this registration process.
  •  At the same time, you will pay a fee to register the Microchip with AKC Reunite. 
  • The good news is this simplifies what you need to do. It eliminates the very complicated process we had to navigate through before—because (in the past) we named each pup and then you needed to change their name as well as pay a transfer fee. Actually, they charge you to transfer the pup as well as to change the name. We have been told this will not happen the way things are set up. We can all hope. 
  • The official registration papers will come to you direct from AKC complete your name of choice. 


The photo of the pedigree above is similar to the one you would receive. You can select an extended 3 -5 generation pedigree for a small additional cost. Of course, the litter parents will be different along with the other information--birthdate, color, and sex. (The black ink blocked confidential information.) The pup will come with your name of choice.
